The 135th birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar was not just a date on the calendar for the VSS (Vankar Seva Sangh) community; it was a historic milestone. This year, the celebrations reached new heights as the community gathered for the grand Lokarpan of the new Bhavan, a structure built on the pillars of unity, sacrifice, and the vision of a stronger Samaj.

A Royal Tribute to Our Pillars: The Carriage Procession
Gratitude was the central theme of the day. To honor those who went above and beyond to make the new Bhavan a reality, VSS organized a unique and majestic tribute. Donors who contributed more than 5 Lakhs were honored with a royal carriage procession through the heart of the community.

Defining the Vision: The VSS Committee Speaks
Following the procession, the atmosphere shifted to one of inspiration and introspection. The VSS Committee hosted a dedicated program focused on the vision and ongoing work of the organization. Key members of the committee took to the stage to discuss the milestones achieved so far, from education initiatives to community support systems.
The speakers emphasized that the new Bhavan is more than just bricks and mortar; it is a hub for intellectual growth and social gathering, staying true to Babasaheb’s core principles of education and organization.

Honoring the Icons of the Samaj
No celebration of Babasaheb’s legacy is complete without acknowledging the leaders of our community. The event served as a platform to honor well-known faces of the Samaj, individuals who have excelled in various fields and brought pride to our people. These icons were felicitated on stage, providing a moment of inspiration for the youth to strive for excellence in their own careers.

The 135th Ambedkar Jayanti by VSS was a perfect blend of tradition and forward-thinking. By inaugurating the new Bhavan and honoring our donors, we have set a new benchmark for unity. As we step into this new home, we carry Babasaheb’s light in our hearts.
Jai Bhim!
